Our Managing Partner, Zander Lim, was invited to speak at the Kuala Lumpur Bar on “Investigative Powers under the MACC Act 2009 & AMLA 2001 (As Amended 2026): A Practical Guide for Defence Counsel”.

Drawing from his experience as a former Deputy Public Prosecutor with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, Zander shared practical insights on investigative powers under the the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009 and Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing, Anti-Restricted Activity Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001, and their implications for defence counsel when advising and representing clients during investigations.
